ABOUT US
The funeral photography service came about when John Slaytor's grandmother died and he realised afterwards, with regret, that there was no record of the passing of the family matriarch, no record of three generations of mourners and no record of his grandmother's enormous circle of friends.
Subsequently, John Slaytor has photographed numerous funerals of various denominations. At every funeral, John Slaytor's discreet, low-key photography ensures that precious moments are photographed with minimal use of flash.
John Slaytor takes particular care when photographing funerals to capture unique moments. For example, all wishes of the deceased, such as piping the hearse, are photographed.
John Slaytor never organises mourners to be photographed unless group photos are requested by the family.
